Mercedes-Benz unveils new electric SUV

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a fully electric Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). The 660-kilometer range car will be built in the United States for the first time. News Reuters. The car is expected to go on sale in the last quarter of this year, the report said. This EQS model car is the second electric SUV of Mercedes-Benz. The United States and Canada are expected to be the main markets for the car. The company did not say exactly at what price the new SUV will be sold.

The new car is being compared to the Tesla Model X or BMW's IX XDrive 50i. Note that the company's first electric SUV was EQC.
